When I got married, investing in beautiful paper goods was high on my list of wedding planning priorities. Not only did it allow me to meet the incredible Shasta Bell (who, coincidentally, has also designed five of my favorite wedding invitations from this past year), but for one’s guests, it truly establishes the tone of what is soon to come. If you’re beginning the wedding planning process, I have pulled together my list of the best wedding invitations of 2018 (see the best wedding dresses and wedding bouquets). Perhaps it’s the old-world inspiration or the perfect styling, but this invitation suite for our sophisticated winter editorial shoot designed by Shasta Bell was an absolute audience favorite on Instagram!
Another Instagram favorite of 2018, this French editorial at Chateau de Varennes inspired by a modern Marie Antoinette, as seen on Wedding Sparrow, featured a stunning wedding invitation suite designed by Ink & Press Co. My favorite element? The gorgeous envelope liner!
Coming soon to Magnolia Rouge, this autumn wedding in the English countryside, (see more in ‘Charlotte & Jamie’), featured the most beautiful and sophisticated wedding invitations. With vintage stamps, handmade paper, and gold foil, they were an all-time favorite of mine!
Nestled deep in the rolling hills of Provence, Mas de l’Oliviere was the backdrop to the most beautiful French soiree. For our bride, Amanda, Shasta Bell hand-crafted the wedding invitations with a sketch of the 17th-century farmhouse that hosted the celebrations.
Our statuesque French bride chose an understated yet elegant wedding invitation suite for her beautiful soiree at Musee Rodin, the most elegant wedding venue in Paris. Designed by Shasta Bell, the antique French stamp was the perfect touch to the handmade paper goods.
For a glorious southern soiree at Boone Hall Plantation, Charleston-based designer, The Silver Starfish, created a creative and whimsical wedding invitation suite that perfectly matched the personalities of our couple, Jenna & Cliff.
As seen in Flutter Magazine, Devon & Ryan’s gorgeous wine country elopement at HammerSky Vineyards was truly one of the most beautiful and heartfelt days I have ever witnessed. Their wedding invitations, designed by Shasta Bell, were the perfect compliment to their modern California fete that was inspired by their shared French heritage.
Coming soon to Style Me Pretty, this celestial-inspired invitation suite designed by Studio French Blue beautifully tied-in the romance of the Renaissance at the stunning Villa di Geggiano (see more in ‘Renaissance bride’).
Clean, simple, and luxe, I loved these thick-letter press wedding invitations that our bride, Samantha, designed for her Normandy destination wedding.
