Jen & Matt, a Texas-based couple, spent three days in the Tuscan countryside sharing their love of Italian food, wine, and culture with their nearest and dearest. Every single moment of this incredible couple’s wedding felt like you had stepped into a classic Italian film. As an Italy wedding photographer, capturing all of the beautiful and heartfelt details that Jen & Matt worked so hard to create was an absolute dream come true. To kick off the festivities, Jen & Matt hosted a casual welcome party at La Pescaia. We opted to take advantage of the gorgeous setting by beginning the evening with a pre-wedding session in the historic villa’s gardens. To compliment her wedding look, Jen donned a beautiful Monique Lhullier gown with citrus-toned florals.

A classic Italian band sung all of the Italian favorites whilst guests enjoyed fresh Italian food grilled right in front of their eyes under string lights and a full moon. Siloh Floral adorned the casual wood tables with potted herbs to create a laid-back and inviting environment that charmingly welcomed their guests to Italy.

The couple awoke to an abundance of sunshine on their wedding day. For her bridal look, Jen once again opted for a stunning embroidered lace Monique Lhullier gown which she complimented with pearl accessories and Jimmy Choos.

One of the sweetest moments of the day was the first look. Spending a few moments together before the ceremony was incredibly grounding for Jen & Matt and created the perfect atmosphere for the big moment.

Their ceremony featured a living aisle and a gorgeous alter arrangement with an abundance of blooms spilling over from urns. It felt as though it had been growing on the Tuscan estate for hundreds of years. The bride’s niece tossed flower petals moments before Jen walked down the aisle with both her mother and her father.

Guests enjoyed cocktails and bocce ball by the pool while I snuck off with the newlyweds to take photos in La Pescaia’s olive groves. As an Italy wedding photographer, the golden light and warm autumn tones made for an especially romantic backdrop for Jen & Matt’s wedding portraits.

For their dinner in front of the villa, Siloh Floral created an absolute masterpiece that felt as though you had stepped into a painting. The elaborately adorned tablescape, complete with floating chandeliers and an abundance of blooms in shades of ochre, blush, peach, ivory, and oatmeal, was truly the most magical I have ever seen.

Jen & Matt surprised their guests by arriving to dinner in-style in a vintage Italian convertible. After their first dance, guests were treated to course after course of exquisite Italian cuisine. In the middle of the meal their lucky guests were once again surprised by a performance by a world-renowned tenor who serenaded the couple with traditional Italian songs including Nessum Dorma. As an Italy wedding photographer, moments like this are absolutely spectacular to capture with the nostalgic feel of medium format film.

The couple opted for a traditional Italian wedding cake where they, along with the chef, prepared it in front of their guests eyes. At this point the party was officially started and the guests enjoyed live music and dancing until the wee hours of the morning.
