Monica & Harrison, New York City-based bon vivants, celebrated their ten-year wedding anniversary in style on the fabled Amalfi Coast. After two fantastic days of celebrations including a Ravello welcome party complete with a fleet of vintage Fiats and a day of sailing to Capri on two iconic Gozzo boats, they threw an epic black-tie soirée that was an absolute dream Belmond Hotel Caruso wedding (but better!)

On the morning of their Amalfi Coast anniversary party, Monica & Harrison enjoyed champagne and coffee in the gorgeous Villa Margherita – the Belmond Hotel Caruso’s stunning private estate. With their lush hotel robes and chic Ginori Italian china, every bit about this lovely morning felt utterly luxe.
Afterward, they donned their anniversary party attire. Monica wore a gorgeous silver lamé gown by Francesca Miranda which the team from Rachael Ellen Events adorned with live clematis blooms. She completed her look with a Jennifer Behr crown and earrings. Harrison opted for a Mr. Porter tuxedo which he customized with a rose velvet jacket. His vintage Eiffel Tower cufflinks, a family heirloom, were the perfect nod to the couple’s favorite city.
Guests, who were surprised at their room with the couple’s favorite cocktail – a Hugo Spritz, were given a ‘black tie but not black’ dress code. The ladies opted for gowns in hues of pink and purple, which the gentleman had fun with suits and tuxedos in blue, green, and burgundy.
Cocktail hour, accompanied by two traditional Italian musicians, overlooked the Mediterranean Sea. In lieu of invitations, Monica & Harrison sent their guests custom-made bottles of Perrier-Jouet champagne that invited guests to ‘Meet Us in Ravello,’ and they kicked off the evening by using two of these bottles in a traditional champagne tower. A cart with wearable flowers encouraged each of the ladies to adorn their hair and attire with blooms while the gentlemen were each given colorful boutonnieres.
Dinner was served under string lights in an olive grove. With hand-calligraphed menus and placecards designed by the esteemed Bernard Maisner and blooms in every shade imaginable by Rachael Ellen Events, the table beautifully set the scene for an elegant multi-course meal designed by the inventive chefs of the Belmond Hotel Caruso. Finally, the couple surprised their guests with a grand sparkler cake cutting – the perfect finish to a truly unforgettable weekend!
