Just two weeks ago Chris & Nicole’s epic destination wedding in Greece was published by none other than Martha Stewart Weddings (see Part I and Part II of their gorgeous wedding), and today I’m thrilled to share that their gorgeous pre-wedding session in Santorini has been featured by Magnolia Rouge! Everything from Nicole’s stunning grey dress, which captured the light so perfectly, to the gorgeous landscapes was a dream come true for this Greece wedding photographer. Scroll down for all of the beauty!

Nicole & Chris are a West Coast couple whose love of travel paired with their adventurous spirit brought them all the way to the sun-drenched, idyllic island of Santorini, Greece to celebrate their wedding. Before the couple was wed we spent a day exploring the beautiful island, capturing their love story against the sublimely beautiful scenery of Oia.
As the sun rose over the Aegean Sea we headed out on foot, strolling down narrow passageways and cobbled alleys to seek out some of Santorini’s most captivating and epic vistas. The white Cycladic architecture, accented with touches of azure blue, seemed to perfectly mirror the endless sea and sky, in every shade of blue imaginable, and the ethereal Santorini light.
Nicole’s dramatic Salvatore Ferragamo heels were the perfect compliment to her ethereal grey Leanne Marshall gown. The modern heel not only juxtaposed the romantic dress, but it also was a distinct nod to the almost surrealist-inspired architecture of Santorini.
I had the immense privilege of spending three beautiful days with this couple, and within moments of meeting them, it was clear to me how much they love and appreciate each other. The way the Chris would gaze at Nicole (and how many times I heard him say “I can’t believe she is going to be my wife”) absolutely melted my heart.
The charming village of Oia on Santorini is filled with so many incredibly beautiful backdrops – it’s truly a dream come true for any Greece wedding photographer.
After our morning session, we all retired to our accommodations to relax, enjoy the Santorini sunshine, and prepare for our evening shoot on a secret black sand beach just ten minutes away from the busy village of Oia. Stay tuned on Monday to see more!
