On Friday I shared Part I of Chris & Nicole’s epic destination wedding in Greece, as featured by Martha Stewart Weddings, and today I’m sharing their stunning Santorini elopement ceremony and reception. For this Oia wedding, Jennifer Fox Events curated the most beautiful of details, including a magnificent floral installation which surrounded the couple with romance as they shared their vows and a dinner table on the edge of the Earth with colors reminiscent of the Santorini sunset. Scroll down for all the beauty!

The mood of the elopement was gentle, intentional, gracious and romantic…elegant and sophisticated…a coming together of two people whose love and appreciation of nature just accented the majestic beauty of the Cycladic island. This was a major inspiration behind the design and feel of their wedding.
The ceremony installation by Betty Flowers Santorini was one of the most incredible floral arrangements I have ever witnessed. White hydrangeas, light blue and white delphinium, roses, pink astilbia, pink aster, and foliage all came together in a horseshoe shape to surround the couple with beauty.
For the wedding dinner, the overall color palette inspiration was taken from the multicolored hues of the ethereal sunset. The sunset in Oia is full of so many pastel hues that it’s reminiscent of rainbow-colored sorbet! I loved the way the colors of the table seemed to flow naturally into the surrounding landscape -it felt like a painting, and for a Santorini film photographer, it was truly a dream come true to photograph.
Glass urn lanterns were used to give the space a more organic ambiance and lemon yellow colored candles adorned the table. Each place setting was designated by a shell with the couple’s first name as well a personal love note on each plate. Sea foam colored linen napkins were gently tied to accent the marble dinner plate and contemporary flatware. The finishing touch was a stunning floral arrangement that perfectly complimented the pastel-hued sunset.
Truly one of the most gorgeous and magical reception designs I have ever seen. Can you imagine dining on the edge of the Earth with your love? What a dream come true.
Before the wedding, Chris secretly worked with Jennifer Fox Weddings to come up with the perfect surprise for Nicole. He wrote her a heartfelt love letter which was hand calligraphed by Shasta Bell Calligraphy and placed on top of her dinner plate. After a few moments of admiring the stunning scenery she read the letter, and needless to say, there was not a dry eye in the house.
It was such an honor to stand by Chris & Nicole’s sides on the most important day of their lives and to create these heirlooms that their family will cherish for generations to come. Stay tuned next month for Part III of their Santorini elopement which will be featured by Magnolia Rouge!
