Monica & Harrison’s Paris Anniversary Session on Inspired by This

I’m happy to share that Inspired by This has featured Monica & Harrison’s beautiful Parisian anniversary session today on their blog! Visit Inspired by This for the full post.

To celebrate their five-year anniversary, bon vivants Monica & Harrison decided to spend two weeks in their favorite city on Earth – Paris.

Monica, a ballerina, and travel and lifestyle blogger, is the absolute essence of quintessential Parisian chic. Sophisticated and poised, she wore a white Halston Heritage dress paired with gorgeous black scalloped Chloe heels. Her husband, Harrison, a digital product strategist and passionate foodie, looked ever so dapper in his navy J. Crew suit. The day before, he surprised Monica while strolling hand-in-hand down the Seine with a stunning vintage diamond and gold ring that adorned her finger during their session.

The well-traveled couple, who has a passion for haute cuisine, fine wine, and art, has spent a significant amount of time abroad and chose the charming island of Île Saint-Louis as their home base during their French holiday. When discussing their anniversary session, it only made sense for us to spend the morning together walking along the Seine, exploring the charming cobblestone streets of Île Saint-Louis and Île de la Cite, and sipping café crème and nibbling on croissants at their favorite neighborhood haunt – the beautiful Café Saint-Régis.

From the moment that I met Monica & Harrison, I was immediately struck by their chemistry. The way they laughed together, the way they would cuddle and dance when they didn’t think I was watching, the way that Harrison looked at Monica. They were one of those couples that made my job so easy – they truly did the work for me. If that wasn’t amazing enough, within a couple of hours together, I felt like I had known them for years, like I was simply spending the morning with two dear friends. Although we only planned on a two-hour session, we had such a wonderful time together than we ended up spending close to five hours shooting throughout Paris.
