Katherine & Barrett’s Paris Destination Wedding on Trendy Bride

On a late summer day in Paris, Katherine and Barrett were married in front of ten of their nearest and dearest. As a Paris elopement photographer, it was such an honor to be a part of this beautiful and heartfelt day and to see their dream Paris elopement featured on Trendy Bride!

“On a warm late summer morning in August, the NOLA couple gleefully prepared in their respective chambres de bonne. Katherine and her girls danced with delight as she stepped into her show-stopping gown. (Just look at that train!) A bouquet of neutral colored blooms completed her wedding day look.

A classic 1955 white Citroen Traction waited downstairs to whisk the bride away for the couple’s first look. The groom took his place in a secluded spot near the foot of the Eiffel Tower and when it was finally time to see his bride, his face beamed with delight! After the pair enjoyed some quiet time together, they headed to their church ceremony.

The groom wore a royal blue suit to keep in the theme of “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue”. The bride even donned blue Badgley Mischka heels to match her beau!

When dinner time rolled around, guests were welcomed by a live violinist and cellist. They sipped on champagne while the duet set the mood. Their dinner table was decorated with soft candlelight and romantic fine art style florals. A single rose sat atop each guest’s menu. “Madame” & “Monsieur” signs designated the bride and groom’s place at the table. Once their 4-course dinner was complete, the couple cut their buttercream wedding cake and thanked their family and friends for celebrating with them. The perfect ending to a classically romantic wedding day in Paris!”
