Shasta & Chris | Paris, France | Palais Royal Engagement Session

I first connected with Shasta Bell last spring, and although at that time we had yet to meet in person, it immediately felt like we had been friends for years. Shasta designed my wedding suite, and since then I have had the pleasure of photographing her exquisite calligraphy everywhere from Provence to Paso Robles. ⠀

This September, the stars aligned, and Shasta and I were able to finally meet in-person in Paris. We decided to meet for lunch at Bistrot Vivienne in the beautiful Galerie Vivienne (one of my must-see’s in Paris).  Within minutes, I just knew in my heart that Shasta and I were kindred spirits. Although we had never actually met in person, it felt as though I was simply catching up with a dear old friend. Shasta was even more lovely, more kind, more humble, and more genuine than I ever could have expected (and I already thought she was amazing!) We enjoyed a long lunch talking about everything under the sun, and afterward, we headed to Palais Royal for a photoshoot with her and her sweet husband, Chris.
