Nestled tightly in between the majestic chalk cliffs, the town of Étretat enchanted us with its quaint streets, amazing seafood, and stunning views. The Etretat coastal walk above the English Channel offers some of the most stunningly beautiful sunset views in all of France. There seems to be a perpetual mist floating dreamily above the sea which creates a painterly palette of golds, blues, and greens. In fact, the light in Etretat is so enchanting that it was one of the most popular subjects of famed Impressionist painters including Monet.
