In the ever-changing year of 2020, many of us (myself included), have spent more time than ever in the home. Work, school, social functions, and even weddings have temporarily transitioned to inside the four walls of our houses – and with that comes the inherent desire to create spaces that feel refined yet restorative. Whether shopping for the perfect hostess gift, for your spouse, or for yourself, this elegant home gift guide pairs perfectly with a glass of champagne (in one of these beautiful etched coupes) and a playlist inspired by a candlelit French château.

First, a few of my personal favorites that I can’t live without. I am completely in love with our bed linens which make our bed feel like we’re sleeping at the Ritz Paris. Everyone who has ever stepped foot into our home knows of my obsession with this diptyque diffuser – it is elegant and makes our entire home smell divine. My friend Nicole designs the most stunning stationery, and her foil bow set is my absolute favorite. These wine glasses make every day feel like a holiday, and I’m a big proponent on splurging on a set of really wonderful bath linens.

And, what’s on my list you ask? This candle is truly breathtaking and will make the perfect objet d’art once it’s been burned through. Of course, a candle needs a snuffer and this one from Aerin Lauder couldn’t be more chic. I adore anything from the Sweedish Gustavian era of design, and this set of antique chairs couldn’t be more charming. This year has meant more time than ever at home, and this Deshoulières Platter will make even the simplest weeknight meals feel decadent.
