It’s been over five years and I am still dreaming about Karl Lagerfeld’s absolutely iconic Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2018 fashion show. Held inside the Grand Palais which the Chanel team turned into a romantic French garden complete with fountains, trelliage, and English roses, every bit of the presentation felt like a powdery pastel fairytale. Of course, it has me dreaming all things weddings. Just imagine—a ceremony and reception covered with green trellis details. A Chanel wedding dress. Soft, romantic makeup with berry-stained lips and a soigné updo. I can’t imagine anything more romantic for a spring soirée.
