Springtime in Paris is truly a sight to behold. After a long and bleak winter, the city seems to come alive overnight with a wash of color. The elegant, Haussmannian buildings of Saint-Germain-des-Prés are framed with vibrant pink blooms. Nestled deep in the heart of France’s Burgundian wine country lies the charming town of Beaune. This past autumn, I was in Burgundy for a photoshoot at the the nearby Château de Varennes and decided to extend my visit to allow me a few days to explore the region’s famed vineyards, villages, and fine dining experiences. After our Sahara Desert camping experience, we began our next adventure – a road trip through the Atlas Mountains to our final destination in Morocco – Marrakech. The trip to the Sahara is not for the faint of heart (it is nearly a ten-hour drive from Marrakech), but is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that is so very worth the trip!
