Bridgerton-fever has officially swept over the world, and it’s not hard to see why. Coined by many as Downton Abbey meets Gossip Girl, it is an absolute feast for the senses. With the most stunning costumes seen since Sophia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette, designer Ellen Mirojnick created a whopping 7,500 looks with “ice-cream pastels, acid-bright florals, acres of ruffles, and rhinestone-encrusted puff sleeves”. After nearly ten-months of isolation, this Regency era escape was just the thing we needed. Looking to plan your own coming out? Keep scrolling for all of your Bridgerton fashion inspiration. With their puffed sleeves, empire waists, square necklines, and flowy silouettes, the Regency dress is the perfect feminine look for spring. This blue and white number is a favorite of mine and this white eyelet style would be perfect for a rehearsal dinner. Speaking of weddings, this floral gown would be a stunning choice for the big day.
In Bridgerton, Eloise (who still hasn’t joined society yet) can be seen wearing the frothiest pastel confections adorned with ruffles and bows, and this sheer coral bow blouse has all the trimmings of a Regency lady. I love the cut of this pastel green blouse, and this satin camisole and bustier remind me of Daphne’s beautiful underpinnings.
As a lady who loves a good headpieces, I’m thrilled that Bridgerton has brought them back in a big way. This pearl headband is one of my wardrobe go-to’s and this pink satin version is too lovely to resist. Everything Nicola Bathie creates seems to be inspired by 19th-century England, and these floral studs and chinoiserie earrings are stunning – the later of which would clearly be Featherington approved. And, speaking of the ladies in yellow and pink, these pink satin mules could be the loveliest shoes I have ever laid eyes on.
