Brittanie and Habib’s romance is a fairytale story of love at first sight. They met two summers ago at a concert and from the moment they laid eyes on each other they knew that there was something special. They fell in love quickly, and 15 months later Habib surprised Brittanie on a weekend getaway to Chicago by getting down on one knee and asking her to spend the rest of her life with him. She, of course, said yes!
For their Indianapolis engagement photos, they knew they wanted to be photographed in the location of their first official date – an absolutely stunning French-inspired bakery called The Cake Bake Shop. Decorated with glistening marble, sparkling mirrors, and pink as far as the eye can see, it is an absolutely perfect engagement photo location. We recreated the scene of their first date with coffee and macarons, then finished the morning with champagne and cake (a wedding planning must!)
I absolutely loved spending the morning with Brittanie and Habib documenting their love. They have such a warm and calming presence which made them a true joy to photograph.
