I’m pleased to share that this beautiful at-home engagement session has been featured by The White Wren!
This past September I spent eight days exploring Northern Virginia, two of which were spent in Charlottesville attending the Belle Lumiere Workshop. One of my favorite portions of the workshop was photographing the at home engagement session in a beautiful historic home in downtown Charlottesville. Caroline and Bram, a real couple, had the most wonderful chemistry, and it was so lovely being able to spend a quiet afternoon getting to know them.
One of my favorite things about photographing an at home engagement session is the fact that it always feels so personal and intimate. I love being able to get to know you as a couple, to see the spaces where you live your life, the special details that mean the most to you, and to better understand your story. I also find that being able to be photographed in your natural environment almost ensures that your photos will be real, authentic, and captivating.
