While lavender seems to always get the most attention in Provence, on this trip, it was the poppies that really made our hearts sing. Whether driving down tree-lined boulevards or through winding country roads, poppies dotted our paths as far as the eye could see – adding a bright pop of color to the otherwise sun-bleached pastel Provençal landscapes. To our delight, we stumbled upon an entire field that was absolutely overflowing with poppies.
