Last Christmas, I traveled to Scott and Sara’s beautiful Indianapolis home for their five-year anniversary session, and couldn’t help but notice how much Sara radiated. From little cuddles to stolen kisses, it was an absolute joy to witness their unfaltering love for one another. It turns out, the reason why she and Scott were so deliriously happy was because they had just found out that they were pregnant. So, when Sara (who I am also lucky to call one of my dearest friends) reached out to me several months ago to start brainstorming ideas for their newborn photos, I could not have been more excited.
Baby Owen (who Scott and Sara lovingly nicknamed “Taco” during the pregnancy), was born on Wednesday, July 26th. With his soft pink skin, dark brown hair, and silver-blue eyes, he truly could not be more cherubic. I spent the afternoon in Scott and Sara’s light-filled home, photographing sweet Owen and his beaming mom and dad. Seeing their overwhelming love for baby Owen was truly one of the most heartwarming sights that I have ever witnessed, and I truly cannot wait to see what an amazing little person that Owen will no doubt become.
Thank you to 100 Layer Cakelet for featuring Owen’s beautiful celestial-inspired nursery and newborn photos on their blog! You can see the full post here.
